Welcome to Nursery
Welcome to the Nursery page!
Please take a look at our class blog to take a look at some of the wonderful activities we enjoy in class.
Meet the staff!
Other members of our team.......
Micky, Boz and Cranky the crow help us with our Literacy and Maths!
At Nursery we choose jobs with our parents at the start of each session with our planning pegs!
Things to Remember
PE day is Monday, though kit needs to be in school every day.
No ear rings please!
- Bring your book bag every day!!
- Bring a smile!
We are very lucky to have our own wood which we visit regularly both for Woodlanders and Forest Schools sessions. We enjoy working together to explore, discover, climb and create using the natural environment to inspire us! (Watching out for the Gruffalo at all times of course!!)
At Nursery we use lots of makaton signing throughout each day. We also use a visual timetable. Our butterfly is moved along by the children as we move through the day.
Please refer to the sounds and words that have been provided by your child's teacher for your child to practise.
Busy Things is a collection of online learning resources for children to enjoy at home. We do not have home access for busy things, but you can purchase apps and home access from their website: https://www.busythings.co.uk
We have a parent, carer, toddler and baby group that meets each Thursday morning in term time. For further information please see the Rushall Rabbits page in the 'Parents' section.
