Home Learning Resources
Pupils are encouraged to use Google Apps for homework and to share information. Children can log in using their emoji passwords through Wonde. Homework will be set on a Friday and will need to be completed by the following Friday.
Each half term, a new Enrichment Project will be set for the children to complete. Children can access this task by logging into Google Classroom using emoji passwords through Wonde.
To further encourage 'Reading for Pleasure' we are using 'Accelerated Reader'. Children will need to read for 20 minutes at school, and 20 minutes at home each day. On completion of a book, children will take a short quiz on a computer at school to check their understanding of the book. Children are welcome to read their personal books from home - to check if there is an associated quiz, please use the Accelerated Reader Book Find website here.
Spelling Frame is a free website which contains all of the spelling rules for each year group from Year 1 - 6. Children can practice the spelling rules and then take a test. http://spellingframe.co.uk/
The Y3/4 curriculum spellings can be found here.
The Y5/6 curriculum spellings can be found here.

Things to Remember
Our P.E. days are Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday and Tuesday, children will need their indoor / outdoor PE kit, including a white round neck t-shirt, black or green shorts and black pumps or trainers. Tracksuits may be worn during cold weather for outdoor PE lessons.
Please ensure that a full P.E. kit is in school each day in case of additional PE activities.
Brass band lessons take place on Tuesday each week. Please ensure that children who have chosen to continue to take part in brass lessons have their instruments in school on Tuesdays.
Reading books and reading log books/ journals must be brought into school every day.
